Lauren Alexandra Wilson is a Toronto-based floral designer, working principally through the brands Timberlost and Wild Altar .
Her work is focused on exploring parallels and mimicry of natural landscapes, and seeks to renew the intricate authenticity of nature in the constructed medium.
Through commercial installations for brands including Off-White and Holt Renfrew, Lauren's work creates large-scale installations that ground the observer in the natural world's intimacy and beauty. Small, delicate commissions for brands including Free People and L'Occitane blend editorial utility and individual delight, as she helps brands forge stronger identities in floral design and natural landscapes.
She is currently evolving Timberlost to reflect the changing tide within her as a designer and artist. 2017 marks a new direction towards rotating, conceptual projects that will embody truth, experiment, science, and art.
Please note that Lauren is still offering floral design for weddings and corporate events. Contact her at timberandhumble@gmail.com for further inquiries or to book a consultation.
